Circle Espresso Machine
The Circle Espresso Machine is a result of exploring basic geometric shapes, so as to form an interesting composition. The machine is made from one sphere which is cut, reduced, and manipulated, such that the eye will focus on the center of the machine, giving center stage to the splash of the coffee.

Process
As a devoted espresso lover, I believe that the stream of coffee is where the focus should be. I’ve started the project by experimenting and having fun with geometric shapes. Then, I chose a sphere as my blank canvas to work with. By dividing and turning the parts on corellating axises, I discovered the open space in which the drama can occur. The shape encapsulates the whole sensual experience: the wait, the sound, the aroma, in each cup of well cared-for freshly brewed espresso.
